How many people will my coach sleep?
The coaches comfortably sleep 5-6.

Can I tow my car?
CoachShare coaches are equipped for towing and have the power needed to pull most models of cars, pick-up trucks and SUV's. High quality tow bars are available with your coach and can be reserved when you schedule your time-slot. Please be aware that many cars cannot be towed with all four wheels on the ground and require a towing dolly. Dollies are available from multiple sources. We provide coach owners a list of vehicles that can be towed without a dolly.

How do I schedule time in my coach?
You may reserve your vacation time by viewing your coach schedule on the internet and then calling our reservation office. Our scheduling system provides excellent vacationing opportunities throughout the year.

How do I get my coach?
You will enjoy the convenience of home delivery and pick-up service which is included in the program.

What benefits are included in the coach Operating Fee?
You will enjoy tremendous savings in operating costs compared to private ownership. Monthly operating fees provide the following operating services:
§ Storage
§ Preventative Maintenance
§ Exterior Cleaning and Interior Cleaning and Sanitization
§ Liability Insurance
§ Physical Damage Insurance
§ DMV Fees
§ Satellite Radio & Television Subscriptions
§ Roadside assistance 24/7
§ Non-warranty repair
§ Valet Delivery & Pick-up*
§ Professional Coach Management

Can I buy additional time in my coach during the program?
CoachShare programs offer tremendous flexibility. You may purchase additional shares in any coach model that is offered in any season at any time. This enables you to expand coach ownership to meet your changing needs. Even though additional shares may be in a different coach from the original, the amenities and program benefits will be the same.

What is the ownership structure?
Each coach is owned collectively by the share owners in an LLC (Limited Liability Company). Your investment is very secure due to the legal protection provided by this structure. LLC's provide excellent liability protection above and beyond that provided by insurance.

How am I protected from litigation or damages caused by others?

Being a part of an LLC means that you are only responsible for damages that you have caused. In addition, the LLC is the body that deals with litigation and each owner carries only the liability for their share.

What about insurance coverage?
We provide liability, physical damage, and replacement insurance. Liability coverage is $1 million. Complete details are in your agreement.

How am I protected from the cost of major mechanical failures?
There are two layers of protection. First, there are warranties provided by the coach manufacturer and their suppliers. Beyond that, CoachShare provides a broad coverage extended warranty insurance plan. This combination provides owners protection from costly major repairs.

Is a special driver's license required?
Not usually. However, there are some states that may require a different class of license, normally referred to as Class B. You can check with your Department of Motor Vehicles regarding licensing requirements.

Who can operate the coach?
The coach is for the exclusive use of the owners. Operation by anyone other than owners is prohibited. CoachShare does not rent coaches to non-owners.

I've never driven a motor coach!
Don't be concerned. Two days of driving and systems training is included in the CoachShare program. This training is delivered by a professional RV driving company with many years of experience. You will finish the program with confidence on the highway and the knowledge to setup and operate your coach.

I don't want to deal with the hassles of storage, cleaning and maintenance!
Then this is the program for you! CoachShare provides complete vehicle management which includes maintenance, storage, cleaning and more. We set the highest standards on the condition and cleanliness of your coach. We do not defer maintenance. Only factory certified RV centers perform service and all coaches are maintained to levels that meet or exceed manufacturers' guidelines. This assures you that your coach will be very reliable during the life of the program and will garner a high resale value at the conclusion of the program.

Is smoking allowed?
The interior of the coach is a smoke-free environment and smoking is strictly prohibited. Smoking may take place outside of the coach.

How long is my commitment?
The program runs for three years. Upon the completion of the program, CoachShare sells the coach and the net proceeds are distributed to the owners.

Can I sell my share prior to the end of the program?

Yes, you may sell your share to a qualified buyer. We will even help you by marketing your ownership interest through our sales channels.

What are my options when the program ends?
Convenience and flexibility are trademarks of fractional ownership. This certainly applies to your options at the conclusion of the program. CoachShare sells your coach and then you decide what to do with your share of the equity.  You may renew your CoachShare membership in a coach for another three years or take your cash payment and exit the program.

What happens if an owner has reserved the coach, but it's not available due to mechanical breakdown or damage?
The coaches are maintained in top notch condition, but mechanical failure or damage is always possible. The situation is equally true for private ownership and CoachShare fractional ownership. However, CoachShare maintains agreements with suppliers of coach maintenance services that provide rapid response to unexpected breakdowns. This assures our owners that their coach will be back on the road as quickly as possible. However, if an owner is denied use of scheduled time due to breakdown or collision, that owner is given priority in the scheduling system to re-schedule their timeslot. If need be, the length of the program will be extended to assure that all owners receive the time they reserved.

What do I do if there is a breakdown or problem on the road?
Your safety and security is of utmost importance to us, so that is why we have partnered with Coach-Net, the leader in RV roadside assistance. Coach-Net provides nationwide 24-hour emergency roadside assistance with a team of service technicians that are RV experts. This includes emergency road service, towing, fuel delivery, tire change, battery jump start and lockout service.

Can I exchange my time with other owners?
Yes. Exchange privileges are part of the program. You may exchange time in your coach for time in another coach based on availability. This provides two key benefits, enhanced scheduling flexibility in your home location and the ability to exchange into a coach that is located across the country. Imagine spending your entire RV vacation exploring your desired part of the country without having to waste your time and money driving across the country and back. For example, you live in California and want to take a two-week vacation in New England. You fly to New England, board your exchange coach, spend your entire two weeks exploring the beautiful east coast, and then fly back home to California. The convenience of fractional ownership just keeps getting better.

Who pays for fuel and camping fees?
You are responsible for all fuel and camping fees during your vacations, 2-day driving/systems training that CoachShare provides and during delivery and pick-up. Fuel includes gas or diesel to fuel the coach as well as propane.
