The roots of Monaco Coach
Corporation run back to 1968, and the formation of
Caribou Coach Corporation. They soon evolved into
Monaco Motorhomes, Inc., and out of that organization
Monaco Coach Corporation was born in 1987.
There are
many milestones in the history of the evolution of
the number one highline motorcoach manufacturer in
the world... the redesign of the Roadmaster chassis
in 1989, the debut of the Dynasty model in 1990, the
acquisition of Holiday Rambler Recreational Vehicles
in early 1996, the launch of McKenzie in 1998 and
the acquisition of Safari and Beaver motorcoaches
in 2001. These are some of the many highlights in
Monaco Coach Corporation's past.
Today, Monaco is headquartered
in Coburg, Oregon, with additional production facilities
in Bend, Oregon and Elkhart and Wakarusa, Indiana.
They have been a public company since 1993 and are
traded on the NYSE under the symbol MNC. The company
is one of the fastest-growing manufacturers in today's
recreational vehicle market and the largest manufacturer
of class A motorhomes.
Monaco has years of experience
in their field, and the confidence and aptitude of
a natural leader. Their goals are to build homes on
wheels that are innovative, dependable and competitively
priced - while offering a lifestyle for customers
that exceeds their dreams.
